What is that horrible buzzer that keeps going off in the takeoff clip?

Funny, not that I have ANY experience in this type, it might give away my origins. lol But yeah, that trim buzz/squawk is so annoying ... at first ... then you don't even hear it later. Funny how stuff works like that. We will have an RJ jumpseat guy and he will ask what that horrible noise is and we will have to have him point it out the next time he hears it cuz we don't know what he is talking about.
The non flying pilot always gets gear (for us anyway) so they do have a stretch. Another big stretch for the captain is the hydraulic pump switches, look for them on the panel above the FOs left knee. Most of the time the FO will 'help out' with those. lol we get tired of captains hands on us all o f the time. This airplane is so nuts, also notice the TWO airspeed windows on the control panel, middle top of the front panel. One for climbs/descents and one for level. So if you don't have the level speed set and are climbing, as soon as you do capture level flight it will revert to whatever speed is in that window and throw everyone down in the back lol. These auto throttles are either full power or idle. haha. Ever hear one on final? Yeesh! But I still love the Mad Dog, maybe I will fly one someday. I think it is amazing how easily they interchange languages. I agree, never boring, it's all fun to watch.

As an airman for 37 years I can safely say that any aircraft made by McDonnell Douglas is a complete and total piece of crap shit. They are the Wal-Mart airliners of the sky. The cheapest, whoriest planes in the air! Another Stoli please!
