FlightSafety offers a free online course on the Teterboro 6 Departure, focused on runway 24. Apparently most of the deviations are occurring while using that runway during the departure. The course takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.

I do this departure all the time. I am not sure why people make it so difficult. You maintain runway heading to 1500' and then turn right to 280 degrees. At the 4.5 DME, you climb to 2000'. Is that so hard to understand

I've never flown it or even looked at it but after taking the course it does seem like a fairly simple departure. I wonder if flight crews have messed it up because they felt rushed (being at TEB) and didn't adequately look it over. Either that or the fact that most procedures have you climb to an altitude, then turn while continuing the climb. This one has you climb to an altitude, then turn while HOLDING that altitude until reaching a certain point.

there's no accounting for stupid. I have to wonder at the caliber of pilots flying in public airspace for high dollar clients out of that airport. It ain't rocket science folks.

There's no need to be rushed. You're going to be parked for 10 to 20 minutes before the other 10 jets/ turboprops in front you take off.
